Ekphrasis - Writing Poetry from Art

10 weekly sessions on Thursdays 11.00 am to 1.00 pm, starting 26 September 

Ekphrasis involves one art form describing another and in this course we will use paintings from the Ulster Museum and possibly other galleries, to write poems.  This time the course will also include ekphrasis in response to film.  Classes will alternate between galleries and the classroom and will involve a trip to the QFT.  It is suitable for anyone who would like to write, whether experienced or beginner. 

Fee £92.00 (concession rate £66.00) 

This class will take place on QUB campus and other venues
