One-day workshop on Saturday 22 March, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm  

Their own Gaelic Heritage is an unknown country of most Ulster Protestants and most Ulster Catholics.  This course seeks to ‘lift the lid’ on this hidden Ulster.  We will look at migration from Ulster to Scotland, the role played by Protestants in the Gaelic Revival, study the local place names we use every day, examine the plethora of Gaelic surnames in the Protestant community, all whilst learning some Irish the ‘fun way’ through songs and much more.
