10 weekly sessions on Wednesdays 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm, starting 9 October  

The course will be delivered by archaeologists from the Centre for Community Archaeology, Queen’s University Belfast as part of the Community Archaeology Project Northern Ireland (CAPNI), supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The lecture series will be fully illustrated and will cover the archaeological story of Ulster from the first colonisation of Ireland in the Mesolithic period (roughly 8,000 BC) until modern times.  The lecture series will be delivered in a hybrid format.  People can either attend the classes in person or attend remotely.  Reading lists for the various lectures and the individual lectures themselves will also be put up on the platform Canvas after they have been delivered.
