5 weekly sessions on Wednesdays 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm, starting 25 September
This 5-week first aid course will focus on adult casualties including: unresponsive casualties – CPR and recovery position; monitoring a casualty; choking; shock; bleeding and bandaging – cuts to limbs, object in a wound and minor bleeding – splinters, minor cuts, nosebleeds; burns; seizures; fainting; broken bones, dislocations, strains and sprains; heart attacks; diabetic emergency; poisoning; head injuries. Students must attend all sessions to attain a Red Cross Certificate.
