Part 7 of a History of Modern Britain sees Great Britain become the arbiter of Europe as she leads the coalition that finally vanquishes Napoleon and establishes a new European order at the Congress of Vienna.  But these are also years of industrial and political unrest, as the country adjusts to peacetime conditions after the great victory at Waterloo.  Political agitation leads to the Great Reform Act of 1832 and this period ends with the accession to the throne of an 18-year old girl who will give her name to the era that followed: Victoria.
