This course will discuss and explore the work of popular contemporary woman writers.  The texts we are hoping to cover will include: Helen Dunmore, The Greatcoat, Melissa Fu, Peach Blossom Spring;: Wendy Holden, The Governess, Liz Hyder, The Gifts, Alice Munro, Free Radicals (short story on BBC Sounds), Virginia Woolf, The String Quartet
