This course will discuss and explore the work of popular contemporary woman writers.  The texts we are hoping to cover will include: Willa Cather, A Lost Lady, Alison Lurie, Foreign Affairs Alice Munro, Runaway, Daphne du Maurier, Rebecca, Val McDermid, Past Lying, Joanna Quinn, The Whalebone Theatre
