One-day workshop on Saturday 1 February, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm 

Join storyteller Janice Witherspoon for a day delving into the stories and lore surrounding this famous female figure. You will hear and discuss stories relating to the goddess era as well as stories attributed to the abbess of Kildare. We will also look at her place in history and discuss the relevance of celebrating Brigid today. There will be an opportunity to make your own Brigid's cross on the day.
