Playing Shakespeare

5 weekly sessions on Mondays 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm, starting 29 April  

New and returning members are always welcome to this friendly, accessible course.  You will explore, analyse and workshop extracts from Shakespeare's plays as well as using Shakespearean sonnets as mini monologues.  Along the way, you will enhance your understanding of Shakespearean verse and prose forms and gain confidence in approaching Shakespeare from the actor's perspective.  Rosie is a classically trained actor who has performed several leading Shakespearean roles in her professional career. 

Textbook: Shakespeare's Sonnets (any edition).
