One-day workshop on Saturday 12 October 10.00 am to 4.00 pm 

Do you volunteer with organisations supporting Refugees and Asylum Seekers?  Want to know how government addresses their needs?  Are you interested in understanding the right to claim asylum?  This session provides a practical overview of resettlement and asylum processes in the UK and NI.  We will meet people who work with and volunteer to support those who are displaced and see how organisations have adapted to community changes over the past three years. We will hear from volunteers, professionals and those doing everyday outreach throughout Northern Ireland.
